ScanStream has evolved to FM Local which is the current interface between Floormation on the browser and local PC apps and data.
Scanstream® has been simplifying data collection and manufacturing processes since the late 90’s. Since then it has been used in a variety of manufacturing situations all over the world and continues to solve problems that other scanning solutions cannot.
ScanStream was launched in the late 1990’s in response to a growing need to quickly and efficiently input data from a variety of hardware devices and make intelligent decisions based on that input. After our customers saw the flexibility that ScanStream provided in being able to input information quickly and efficiently into the Infinite Functions’ Floormation application, ScanStream started being used to input data from serial devices into any Windows application. Since then ScanStream has grown and continues to prove its’ effectiveness in the manufacturing environment.
